Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, Krav Maga. Kids and adults. Beginners start every week.
Call Alex to book a classSeven things run out of this room. You do not have to pick one on day one. Turn up, watch a round, then decide. You will be sore. Bring water.

01
Fists, elbows, knees and shins. Your first month is footwork, guard, and learning not to flinch when something comes at your head. Pads and bags first. Light sparring when your coach says you are ready, not before.
Who it’s for Complete beginners upward. No experience, no kit needed to start.
02
Ground fighting. Grips, then position, then submission — in that order, always. It is chess played by tired people. You will tap a lot in your first year. That is the class working, not you failing.
Who it’s for Anyone. Size and strength matter least here, which is the entire point.
Verify. Not on the 2026 timetable or price list. Confirm it still runs.
03
Hands only. It looks like the simplest thing in the building and it is the hardest to do well. Jab, feet, head movement, breathing. Rounds on the bag, rounds on the pads, conditioning at the end when you have nothing left.
Who it’s for Anyone who wants to be fitter and hit properly. Tuesdays, 6:30pm.
04
Takedowns, sprawls, scrambles, getting back to your feet. The least glamorous class we run and the one that changes the most fights. Expect to be tired inside ten minutes and to keep going anyway.
Who it’s for Strikers who keep getting taken down. Grapplers who want to choose where the fight happens.
05
Self-defence, not sport. No points, no rounds, no referee. We drill getting out of grabs, off the wall, off the floor, and away. Simple movements you can still perform when your hands are shaking.
Who it’s for People who want to get home, not win a trophy. Saturdays, midday.
For parents
Striking and grappling taught in the order children can actually absorb it. Discipline, listening, and falling over safely. No sparring until a coach says so, and never with a bigger child.
Parents wait in the room, not in the car park. Tiny Thaiboxers on Friday afternoons, kids Thai boxing Monday and Wednesday evenings.

£7 a session, or £45 a month. See all prices.
Women only
Bagwork, circuits and conditioning built on real striking mechanics rather than a fitness-class impression of them. No sparring and no contact. You leave with sore legs and a decent left hook.
Two nights a week: Boxexercise on Monday, Tone & Conditioning on Thursday. Both at 6:30pm.
Who it’s for Women only. Any fitness level, including none.

Turn up ten minutes early for your first session so somebody can show you where things are.

Why here
01
The academy changed hands. What that means for you is that somebody is paying attention.
02
The bags, the mats and the pads are new. You are not training on somebody else’s worn-out gear.
03
The coaching team has been at this a long time. Nobody will make you spar in week one.
The academy is on Unit 5 Elm Court, off Highgate Road, in Oakvale.
Nobody here is going to sell you a grading certificate. You train, you get better. That is the whole arrangement.
Walking into a gym for the first time is the hardest part of the entire thing. Ring Alex first if that helps. He will tell you what to bring and when to arrive.
To be supplied. Three coaches, ready to fill. Each needs a name, the discipline they lead, and exactly one credential — a rank, a fight record, a coaching qualification. One, not three. Delete this notice afterwards.
